疫情指揮中心於11月5日發布大陸廣東省新增1例H7N9流感確診病例，疫情指揮中心已將該省旅遊疫情建議調升與浙江省一樣為第二級：警示（Alert）。陸委會依中央流行疫情指揮中心決定，將大陸廣東省列入黃色旅遊警示區域，並提醒國人特別注意旅遊安全及考量是否前往該地區，如有必要前往該等地區，應加強自我健康照護。

陸委會表示，H7N9流感病毒持續存在環境中，其傳染威脅並未解除，仍須保持警覺。國人前往大陸地區，仍應注意自我健康照護，保持勤洗手、戴口罩的衛生習慣，勿任意碰觸與餵食鳥禽，避免至有活禽之傳統市場，食用禽肉及蛋類務必煮熟；返國後，如出現發燒、咳嗽等症狀，請立即戴口罩就醫，並告知醫師旅遊史。
